You are welcome to participate in the survey on social issues. The survey is aimed at people from linguistic minorities and people with a foreign background living in Finland. By responding, you will help researchers understand the views of people living in Finland on various social issues. The survey is carried out by Taloustutkimus. You have been randomly selected from the Population Information System on the basis of language information. You do not need any prior information to respond. Your views are important to us.

Why have you been chosen?

We have obtained your information from the Population Information System of Digital and Population Data Services Agency. Respondents have been randomly selected from the register based on language information.

Who can participate?

Everyone who received this invitation can respond to the survey. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and you can choose to respond in Finnish or in English. Participation is voluntary and you may choose to withdraw at any point.

How can you answer the survey?

You can answer the survey in Finnish or English on your computer or mobile device. If you are visually impaired, it is easiest to use a mobile device.

This is not a problem, you can close the survey and come back to resume it at another time.

Confidentiality

Only Taloustutkimus will process your personal data (name and address). This data will not be passed on, will not be included in your answers, and will be securely destroyed after the survey has been completed. You will not receive any "spam" as a result of your participation.

The responses you provide will be recorded by Taloustutkimus and kept confidential. The results will be analysed by combining your answers with those of other participants in the survey. Only general statistical summaries of the data collected from the survey will be published. The collected response data may be disclosed to public authorities for planning and statistical purposes.

By answering the questionnaire, the respondent gives his/her consent to the use of the answers given for the purposes mentioned above.

The contact information from the prize draw will only be used for the purposes of the prize draw. Taloustutkimus is responsible for the prize draw.
